City of Northlake Community Events and Affairs Commission met Nov. 13.
Here is the minutes provided by the commission:
The meeting was called to order at 6:15 pm
Present:
Patrick Pionto, Kary & Diane Sampson, Tim Rail, Rick Chillemi

Others Present:
Pat made a motion to approve the minutes from the October 2018 meeting, seconded by Rick. All in favor, the motion carried.
Boo-Fest:
Boo-Fest was a huge success! It took 2 hours to set up. Having the kids run the game sure made things so much better! We were able to refill the candy quicker and greet all the kids with a pixie stick and a bag of pretzels!
Winter-Fest:
December 8 1:00-3:00. Diane will purchase 100 gifts and Pat will purchase 20-30 gift cards for this event. We will ask VPD to set up 20 tables with 2 being reserved for our family members. Last year due to the fact that people were eating at the start of Bingo, seats were limited.
We will also have VPD set up the gift table behind us so the gifts are better secured.
NEW BUSINESS
We are looking into purchasing polo style shirts to wear to our events. Diane will call Liz to discuss.
