City of Northlake Council met Nov. 19.

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Mayor Sherwin asked everyone to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.
Roll Call:
Present: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Padilla, Werba, Grochowski And Patti
Absent: Alderman Contreras
Alderman Gonzalez
Norm Nissen, Chief Of Police
Others Present: Nancy Pauletto, City Clerk
Carol Lampard, Finance Director
Mark Sterk, Attorney
Dale Roberts, Superintendent Public Works
Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the regular meeting held on November 5, 2018. Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held November 5, 2018; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.

Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the warrants and vouchers if and when the funds become available; seconded by Alderman Padilla. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Mayor Sherwin stated that the City received a check for just over $300,000 from the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority as reimbursement for some of our expenses. Alderman Patti wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Alderman Werba made a motion to table a decision on approving the proposal from Landmark Dividend to purchase an easement on the cell tower site at the Public Works Facility for a lump sum of $283,000; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
