State House race: Republican Durkin wins voter tally in Cook County

Jim Durkin led Democrat Tom Chylstek in votes cast in Cook County for the District 82 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Durkin appeared to outpace Chylstek by a margin of 28.3 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In 2014, Republican Jim Durkin, ran uncontested, so no comparison data is available.
