State House race: Democrat Villla wins voter tally in Cook County

Karnia Villla led Republican Tonia Jane Khouri in votes cast in Cook County for the District 49 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Villla appeared to outpace Khouri by a margin of 16 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In 2014, Republican Mike Fortner, ran uncontested, so no comparison data is available.
