Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1) Call to Order

President Gattuso Called the Meeting to Order at 7:06p.m.

2) Pledge of Allegiance

3) Roll Call

Present: President Paul Gattuso, Trustees Carl Celestino, Angelo Calcagno, Frank Perry, Tom Yurkovich

Also Present: Village Clerk Stan Kolodziej, Attorney Mike Durkin, Village Manager Dave Plyman, Police Chief Steven Stelter, Fire Chier Jim Adams, I.T. Manager Greg Hribal, Community Development Director Melissa Headley

Absent: Trustees Nick Steker, Sherby Miller, Public Works Director Robert Lewis

4) New Business

4.A Licensing or Banning of Mobile Food Sales Vehicles. (Discussion Only)

Trustee Celestino advised that he would like to discuss the banning or licensing of any ice cream trucks that travel through town.

Trustee Calcagno is in agreement with licensing

Trustee Perry also agrees with licensing and not banning, and suggests using the Elgin model.

Trustee Yurkovich also agrees with licensing.

President Gattuso also would like to see an emblem on the side of the vehicle.

Trustee Perry asks that the legal language be worked on so that the item can be put on the active agenda for the next meeting.

Tracey Marky 1626 Stratford came up to state she is against banning of ice cream trucks.

Laura Latino also asked for background checks for ice cream vendors.

Krista Brazel is asking if Proviso high school has ever submitted items for the newsletter
