Illinois residents paid $9,726 to attend the two-year public institution this year $366 more than the $9,360 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 24.2 percent more than residents this year, or $12,076. Their price tag grew 3.8 percent from $11,630 in 2016-17.
About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. About 1 percent are residents of other states and 1 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 62 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 467 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.08 million and 61 students took out student loans totaling more than $240,908.
Including all undergraduates, 3,625 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.75 million. Another 569 took out $2.69 million in federal student loans.
