Here is the agenda provided by the Board:

The Village Board of the Village of Bellwood will conduct a regular board meeting on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room at 3200 Washington Boulevard, Bellwood, IL 60104-1984 for the purposes of considering the following agenda:

ii Item H - The village annually considers and approves designated projects for improvement of streets in and about the Village to be paid for by allocating Motor Fuel Tax Funds, the projected referred to herein is for the improvement of Washington Boulevard,

ii Item B - The Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing regarding Petitioner’s request for zoning relief and as a result of which has made a recommendation to approve Petitioner’s request for a parking variance,

iii Item G - The Village has applied for and received a grant in the amount of $250,000.00 to assist with the maintenance and demolition of abandoned residential property, as part of the process the Village is required to enter into a Funding Agreement with the Illinois Housing Development Authority, d Administration – Trustee Robinson, Chairman; Trustee Ciavattone, Member,

ii Item A - The ordinance adopts the previous supplements to the village code including but not limited to the 2017 supplement,

iii Item C - The reports provide updates regarding pending litigation and revise the respective reserves, limits and costs pertaining to the respective claims and lawsuits,

iv Item D - Annually the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Board appoints individuals to serve in or on various offices, boards and commissions for the upcoming fiscal year,

v Item J - The honors and celebrates the life of a past resident of the Village of Bellwood,

ii Item E - The addendum to the intergovernmental agreement provides for addition of the Village of Stone Park as a member municipality,

iii Item I - The Memorandum of Understanding provides for a working relationship with Youth Outreach Services in order to provide comprehensive youth programs and crisis intervention for those individuals in need of such assistance,

iv Item K - The Bellwood Police Department is currently a member of NIPAS which provides for mutual aid for participating agencies, the amended agreement provides for updates to the original agreement pertaining to providing for the expansion of membership to NIPAS, simplification procedures by which a participating agency may terminate membership, amendments pertaining to the liability provisions and various amendments providing for updates and cleaning up of provisions,
