Graduates earn 295 degrees, certificates from Lincoln College of Technology-Melrose Park

About 62.4 percent of the 295 degrees and certificates handed out by the Lincoln College of Technology-Melrose Park in 2016-17 were to students in Mechanic and Repair Technologies/Technicians programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Park conferred 127 associate's degrees and 57 certificates in Mechanic and Repair Technologies/Technicians programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Medical/Clinical Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 111 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant, followed by 102 associate's degrees in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician and 43 certificates in Autobody/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician.

The college enrolled 680 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
