The village of Lyons Finance Committee met Jan. 3 to break down the 2018 finances.

1. Call to Order
a. Meeting called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chairman Paul Marchiori.
2. Roll Call
a. Chairman Paul Marchiori called roll. Present: Chairman Paul Marchiori Mayor Christopher Getty, Trustee
Echeverria. Excused Absence Trustee Patricia Alonzi.
3. Presentation of the Warrant
a. Chairman Paul Marchiori presented warrant number 01-03-17 in the amount of $ 418,395.67
b. Chairman Marchiori entertained a motion to approve warrant number 01-03-17 in the amount of $418,395.67
Motion made by Mayor Getty, seconded by Trustee Echeverria.

4. Approval of Meeting Minutes
a. Chairman Marchiori entertained a motion to approve meeting minutes from October 18, 2016, November 1, 2016,
November 15, 2016, and December 21, 2016.
Motion made by Mayor Getty, Seconded by Trustee Echeverria.

5. Finance Report
a. Finance Director Dan Denys is aiming for the first meeting in February to have a final break down of the 2016
finances presented at the finance board. Once every month Dan would like to present the Village board with a policy
issue. This will further the board’s understanding of Village policy as well as help codify Village operations. Bond
payments went out on December 31, 2016 without any issues. The Village even payed one payment a year in
advance.
6. Adjournment
a. Chairman Marchiori entertained a motion to adjourn the finance committee meeting at 6:16. Motion made by
Trustee Echeverria, Seconded by Mayor Getty.
