Lyons Finance Committee presents tax levy

The village of Lyons Finance Committee met Dec. 21 to present the tax levy.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the committee:

The committee meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Call to Order

a. Meeting called to order at 6:07 p.m. by Chairman Paul Marchiori.

Roll Call

a. Chairman Paul Marchiori called roll. Present: Chairman Paul Marchiori Mayor Christopher Getty, Trustee Echeverria. Excused Absence Trustee Patricia Alonzi. Presentation of the Warrant

a. Chairman Paul Marchiori presented warrant number 12-21-16 in the amount of $ 4,094,871.37 b. Chairman Marchiori entertained a motion to approve warrant number 12-21-16 in the amount of $4,094,871.37

Motion made by Mayor Getty, seconded by Trustee Echeverria.

Chairman Marchiori Called the roll:

Ayes: 3 Chairman Marchiori, Mayor Getty, Trustee Echeverria Nays: O Absent: 1. Trustee Alonzi

Finance Report

a. Dan Denys presented the tax levy for the Lyons Library and the Village of Lyons. Also, Mr. Denys presented the information on issuing two bonds at the special board meeting. Adjournment

a. Chairman Marchiori entertained a motion to adjourn the finance committee meeting at 6:37. Motion made by Mayor

Getty, seconded by Trustee Echeverria.
