Oak Park and River Forest High School Board discusses personnel matters

At a special meeting this week, the Oak Park and River Forest High School Board met in closed session to discuss sensitive personnel matters.

All regular meetings of the Board of Education are held in Room 213 at the high school and are open to the public, except those specified under the Open Meetings Act. Visitors are cordially invited to attend these meetings, which usually begin at 7:30 p.m. Contact the Board at BOE@oprfhs.org.

I. Call to Order and Roll Call Jeff Weissglass

II. Public Comments Jeff Weissglass (Please limit public comments concerning matters within the jurisdiction of the Board of Education to 3 minutes. This section is not intended to be a dialogue with the Board of Education.)

III. Move to Enter Closed Session for the purpose of discussing the Jeff Weissglass appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1), as amended by PA.93—57; and Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular District has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the District finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the closed meeting minutes.
