At a meeting this week, the Cook County Board's Labor Committee discussed a proposed resolution to approve an economic package for county workers and unions that includes wage increases and a health care fee schedule.

The package would cover county workers, as well as those with the Cook County Pharmacy Association; Chicago Joint Board; Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union; and AFL-CIO, CLC (RWDSU Local 200) representing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

If the Labor Committee approves the package, it would be sent to the County Board for final approval.
