The Hillside Fire and Police Commission will administer oral tests to police officer candidates at its next meeting at 3:30 p.m. today in the Commissioners' Board Room, second floor of the Hillside Municipal Complex, 425 N. Hillside Ave.
The commissioners will delay regularly scheduled business items to focus on officer testing and hiring.
The commission had planned an agenda that included finalizing the entry-level police register, computer system updates, office organization and new commissioner training.
