Proviso school board to hammer out new superintendent contract privately

The Proviso Township High Schools board will hold a special closed-session meeting to create a new employment contract for whomever the board eventually hires as the district's next superintendent, 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Proviso Mathematics and Science Academy auditorium and boardroom, 8601 W. Roosevelt Road.

Current Superintendent Nettie Collins-Hart is expected to resign at the end of the school year after seven years on the job.

The new contract's details will be hammered out privately during the executive session.
