West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association offers scholarships for criminal justice students

The West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association announced on Mar. 12 that it will award three $1,000 scholarships to students planning to attend college during the 2026-27 school year. Each scholarship will be distributed as $500 per semester and paid directly to the college for tuition, books, and other academic fees.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students who are residents of a West Suburban member town and plan to pursue full-time studies in criminal justice for the entire academic year. Applicants must not be related to an active member Police Chief of the association. The deadline for submitting completed applications is May 15, 2026.
