The Village of Western Springs is addressing several water main breaks that occurred in different areas. According to village officials, repairs have been completed on the 4800 block of Central Avenue, between 48th and 49th Streets, with water service restored as of 5:30 p.m. Repairs on the 5200 block of Clausen Avenue, between Dierks and 53rd Street, are also finished, and water service is being restored as of 6:25 p.m.
Other affected locations include Linden Lane and the 4700 block of Central Avenue. The village has brought in professional contractors to help with the repair work.
