I. CALL TO ORDER: President Nick Caiafa called the public hearing to order at 6:50 P.M. 

II. ROLL CALL: Upon a call of the roll by the Village Clerk, the following Elected Officials were: 

Present: President Nick Caiafa, Trustees: Moses Diaz, Russell Klug, Joan Golembiewski, Tom Deegan, Robert Lima (present by phone), Terri Sheridan, and Village Clerk Rosa Jos 

Absent: None 

President Caiafa declared a quorum present. 

Also present: Corporate Counsel Joe Montana, Interim Village Manager Dave Strahl, Tony Anczer, Brian Bursiek, Anna Gorzkowicz, and Janet Matthys 

III. PRESENTATION OF PROPOSED ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021: The proposed budget for fiscal year 2020-2021 was presented. 

DISCUSSION: Discussion regarding specific line items. Trustee Lima noted his concerns about the employees 0% raise. Interim Village Manager Strahl stated that this decision is necessary due to deficiency of Village revenue. Consensus is that the budget can be modified in the future, if needed. Trustee Diaz suggested that if the Village recovers from its current financial state, employees should receive a one-time bonus in lieu of raises for the year 2021.

Trustee Diaz stated that he did not agree with some specific budget items and asked for additional clarification regarding these items. 

IV. PUBLIC COMMENT: No one to be heard. No written comment was received. 

V. ADJOURNMENT: With no further business to conduct, it was moved by Trustee Golembiewski, seconded by Trustee Diaz that the Public Hearing be adjourned. 

Upon roll call the following voted: 

Aye Trustees: Diaz, Klug, Golembiewski, Deegan, Lima and Sheridan 

Absent: None 

Nay: None 

President Caiafa declared the motion carried and this Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:06 P.M.
