The Village of Riverside announced on May 1 that it will hold a Public Safety Open House on Tuesday, May 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 31 Riverside Road. The event will feature a presentation by Williams Architects regarding preliminary plans for a new Public Safety facility.
The open house is part of the village’s efforts to engage residents in the planning process ahead of a proposed referendum concerning the construction of the new facility. According to the announcement, representatives from Williams Architects will be available to answer questions, explain their process, and collect feedback from community members about possible design changes.
“Resident feedback is very important to this process and integral to the development of the facility, so we encourage as much participation as possible,” said organizers in their statement.
The Village of Riverside provides municipal services such as fire suppression, emergency medical care, law enforcement, parks programs, and public library access according to the official website.
