The Village Board of the Village of Brookfield was called to order on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the Edward Barcal Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue Brookfield, IL 60513, with the following members present:

PRESENT: Village President Michael Garvey, Village Clerk Michael Melendez, Trustee Nicole Gilhooley, Trustee Jennifer Hendricks, Trustee Kathryn Kaluzny, Trustee Kit Ketchmark, Trustee Julie Narimatsu, and Trustee Kyle Whitehead

a) Cycle Brookfield’s AARP Bike Audit Presentation

Members from Cycle Brookfield (Joe Seymour, Ken Knasiak, Joe O’Connor, and Chris Pratt) review the bike audit they won grant money for from AARP. Presenters discussed all three of their audit locations. Maple Avenue, Kemman Avenue, Prairie Avenue, and Ogden Avenue are the main streets discussed. Recommendations on signage, crosswalk striping, bike storage, and safety are presented.
