Brookfield will start a major water main improvement project on Maple Avenue beginning March 16. The work includes upgrading infrastructure and maintaining traffic flow while minimizing disruption for residents.
The Cook County Board has approved new funding for multiple transportation projects across the county. Projects include bridge replacement studies, sidewalk construction in Bedford Park, countywide engineering services, and major road resurfacing in southern areas.
