Touch-A-Truck will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tower Green. The event includes a sensory-friendly hour without horns from 9 to 10 a.m.

The Village of Western Springs is hosting the event with participation from several agencies and municipalities, such as the Village of Willow Springs and the City of Darien. Attendees will have an opportunity to explore various trucks and vehicles up close.

Additionally, residents can engage with those involved in the “Safe Routes to School” project to provide feedback on safety and accessibility related to school routes.
