On March 20, former Lyons Township High School basketball standout Tavari Johnson played with the Akron Zips, who fell 91-71 to the Texas Tech Red Raiders during their NCAA Tournament contest.
The matchup was held at Benchmark International Arena and started at 12:40 p.m.
Johnson tallied four points, six assists and one rebound in 30 minutes of action.
