As the 2025 Brookfield Holiday celebration nears, the Village of Brookfield is seeking sponsors for its Gift of Giving Tree program. The initiative invites businesses, organizations, and families to sponsor decorated artificial trees for $250 each. These trees will be donated to Share Food Share Love Food Pantry after the event and given to families in need.

Sponsors will have their names and a QR code linking to a URL displayed on a yard sign next to their decorated tree at the event. In case of bad weather, trees will be placed inside Village Hall. Sponsors' names will also be listed as Gift of Giving Tree supporters on both the Village and Brookfield Chamber of Commerce websites and social media channels.

The Village has chosen artificial trees so that recipient families can reuse them in future years. Those who wish to decorate their own tree may request delivery and later pickup by the Village. Alternatively, the Village offers to handle decoration upon request.

Trees must be collected no later than Monday, December 1. For those interested in participating or requesting more information, instructions are available through a sponsorship form download or by contacting Bob Uphues at ruphues@brookfieldil.gov.

"Your name (and a QR code linking to a URL) will be printed on a yard sign next to your decorated tree, located throughout the event or within Village Hall in case of inclement weather, and you’ll be recognized with you name listed as a Gift of Giving Tree sponsor on the Village and Brookfield Chamber of Commerce websites and social media."

"The Village has procured artificial trees so they can be used in the future by families they are given to this year. If you would like to decorate the tree yourself, we can have the tree delivered to you; when you have decorated the tree, we can also pick it up from you."

"We will need to collect trees by no later than Monday, Dec. 1. If you would prefer to have us decorate the tree for you, we can also do that!"

If interested parties want further details or wish to participate, they are directed to download the sponsorship form or contact Bob Uphues at his provided email address.
