The Office of Equity and Student Success at Oak Park and River Forest High School is organizing its first annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration Dinner. The event will take place in the South Cafeteria on Tuesday, October 21, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
According to the organizers, "Join us! The Office of Equity and Student Success at Oak Park and River Forest High School invites you to our first annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration Dinner, held in the South Cafeteria on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This year, we are excited to welcome Teresa Fraga as our Keynote Speaker. Oak Park and River Forest High School serves students in grades 9 through 12 in Oak Park and Cook County. In the 2019-2020 school year, there were 3,393 students enrolled at the school (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). Grade 10 had the highest concentration of students at 26.2 percent of total enrollment (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/), while grade 9 made up 25.6 percent, grade 11 accounted for 25.4 percent, and grade 12 comprised 25.3 percent (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).

The celebration dinner aims to recognize Hispanic Heritage Month within the school community.
