A group of Cicero seniors recently participated in a day trip to Lake Geneva, where they enjoyed sightseeing, a boat cruise, and time to socialize. The outing was organized by the Cicero Senior Center and included a ride on “The Grande Belle” boat.
President Larry Dominick accompanied the group and spoke about the importance of providing such opportunities for local seniors. “Our seniors have given so much to this community over the years. We want to make sure they have opportunities to enjoy themselves, see new places, and spend time with friends,” Dominick said.
Diana Dominick, director of the Cicero Senior Center, also joined the event. She commented on the positive atmosphere during the trip: “It’s wonderful to see our seniors out having fun and making memories. Trips like this keep everyone connected, active, and feeling appreciated. Lake Geneva was beautiful, but the best part was the joy on everyone’s faces.”
The event featured sunny weather, food, and a chance for participants to connect with each other. The Cicero Senior Center plans to continue offering similar activities throughout the year.
