A community-wide mosquito control treatment is scheduled for Monday night, July 14. The effort aims to reduce mosquito populations and prevent the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses in the area.
The treatment will use EPA-registered larvicides and adulticides that are approved for safe application in residential neighborhoods. According to product labels, there are no special safety precautions required during the application process.
Residents are advised that they may continue their normal activities during the treatment if they choose. "Residents may continue normal activity, at your own comfort, during application, as there are no special safety precautions required according to the product labels."
