Ashish Patel, owner of Komal Wine and Liquor, expressed his excitement: “We are so happy for the winner and for our family business!” He added that while they do not yet know who the winner is, they expect to find out soon as they have regular local customers.
For selling the winning ticket, Komal Wine and Liquor will receive a bonus of just over $31,000. Patel mentioned plans to reinvest this bonus into their business.
Ultimate Diamond Jackpot is an Illinois Lottery Fast Play progressive jackpot game that starts at $75,000 and increases with each ticket sold until it is won. So far this year, Illinois Lottery players have won more than $17 million in prizes from this game.
