An Illinois iLottery player has won $1 million after matching all five numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing. The winning numbers were 7, 18, 22, 50, and 65. This win is part of over $1.1 million in prizes distributed to more than 18,000 winning tickets sold in Illinois for the February 22 drawing.

In the year so far, Illinois Lottery players have won more than $3.9 million with Powerball. The current jackpot stands at an estimated $230 million, with the next drawing scheduled for tonight at 9:59 PM CT.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase both online and in-store through the Illinois Lottery app. Tickets cost $2 each, with an optional Power Play feature available for an additional dollar to potentially multiply non-jackpot prizes.

Winners have one year from the date of their draw to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery advises winners to sign their ticket and store it safely until they claim their winnings.

The Illinois Lottery also provides resources on responsible gaming on its website: "Don’t overdo it and keep track of how much time you spend playing the Lottery. When gambling is no longer fun - take a break!"

Founded in 1974, the Illinois Lottery has contributed over $25 billion to support K-12 public education through the State’s Common School Fund since 1985. Nearly all proceeds from the lottery benefit this fund.
