Water main breaks prompt repairs and outages in village

The Public Works Division is currently addressing several water main breaks in the Village. The break at 41st and Harvey has been repaired, with water service restored by noon. Another break at Forest and Chestnut was also fixed, and service was reinstated in the afternoon. However, a break on Grand, between 47th and 48th Streets, is still being worked on. This particular incident necessitated an unexpected extensive water shutdown in the area.
