FOIA Request to Berwyn City Council Regarding Council Members' Details on October 15, 2024.
West Cook News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Berwyn City Council in Illinois. The request was made under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
We are seeking a list of all council members with specific details. The requested information includes each member's name, title, year appointed, term length (2 or 4 years), and term expiration date.
As a news organization committed to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to these public records is essential for us at West Cook News.
