To accommodate the final phase of street paving around the Congress Park Train Depot, DuBois Boulevard will be closed at Ogden Avenue on Wednesday, October 23. This closure will make the north commuter parking lot unavailable for use.

The south commuter lot at Congress Park will remain accessible through an alley north of Ogden Avenue connecting with Blanchan Avenue. However, parking in the grass or in the vacant lot at 9508 Ogden Ave is prohibited, and signs have been posted to enforce this rule.

Commuters are advised to consider alternative parking options due to limited availability. Options include on-street parking along Brookfield Avenue from the 8500 block west to the 9100 block near train tracks, a Pay to Park Passport Parking location at 8820 Brookfield Avenue Village Hall rear lot, Hollywood (Zoo Stop) Train Depot along the 8400 block of Brookfield Avenue, and Prairie Train Depot along the 8800 Block of Burlington Ave.

"We encourage you to plan ahead and allow extra time for parking," officials stated. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time."
