The Parkway Tree Replacement Program is now open for the fall season, allowing residents to replace or add a parkway tree while sharing the cost with the Village. Through this program, property owners will cover approximately 25% of the cost ($80.00), while the Village will handle the remaining 75% ($270.00). This fee includes the cost of the tree, shipping, and planting.

Priority is given to residents who have recently had a tree removed from their parkway. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out, and submitting a form does not guarantee that a tree will be planted. Trees placed under or near wires will be limited to understory selections only.

Residents are not allowed to plant their own trees in the parkway without permission. A permit specifying location, spacing, and species is required.

Interested residents should review the available species and complete an online request form. Those who applied last season but did not receive a tree due to depleted stock must reapply. The program will close once the current supply of trees is exhausted.

Further information and the online form can be found on the Forestry page of the Village's website.
