The Village's water meter replacement program is nearing completion. Nearly all water meters older than seven years have been replaced. Despite multiple attempts to reach certain customers, some water meters still urgently require replacement. A final notice was sent to those addresses this week. The Village plans to contact these remaining water customers by phone to request that they schedule an appointment with Water Resources, Inc.
If you receive a phone call from the Village regarding the water meter, Village staff will not ask for personal information nor request any kind of payment. They are following up on multiple letters mailed and door hangers placed at your address, urging water customers to schedule a free appointment with Water Resources to have their water meter replaced immediately.
