The Village of Brookfield's annual Residential Street Improvement Project is set to commence the week of July 31. The contractor will initiate preliminary work, including tree protection measures, root pruning, and saw cutting.
The streets scheduled for improvement in 2024 are:
- Morton Avenue, from 31st Street to Garfield Avenue
- Madison Avenue, from Monroe Avenue to Washington Avenue
- Fairview Avenue, from Maple Avenue to Sunnyside Avenue
Crews will begin with sewer improvements on Morton Avenue and Madison Avenue. The listed streets represent the approximate order of construction. The contractor aims to complete all work by the end of October.
