The Town of Cicero adopted a proclamation honoring Attorney Michael T. Del Galdo's firm's 25th anniversary during its board meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero Board of Trustees commemorated the milestone for the Del Galdo Law Group LLC and its principal attorney, Michael T. Del Galdo.

The board unanimously approved a proclamation recognizing Del Galdo for his nearly 20 years of service as the Town Attorney for Cicero and celebrating the law firm's 25 years in operation.

President Dominick reflected on his initial encounter with Del Galdo during his campaign for Town President, stating, "He’s a very brilliant guy. I won the presidency in '05; that’s when I met Mike and five minutes after talking to him I decided he was the one for the town." He added, "He’s done a great job and it’s an honor to have him here."

Trustees praised Del Galdo during the meeting for his legal counsel. "Thank you, Mike. You and the Del Galdo Law Group are the best," said Town Supervisor Joe Virruso.

Del Galdo expressed gratitude to the board for acknowledging his firm's anniversary and his legal service to Cicero. "I was 31 years old when I was appointed by President Dominick as town attorney in 2005, and almost 20 years later, I’m still having the time of my life," he said. "It’s been an honor and a privilege to represent the town. I look forward to many more years of service and most importantly, the friendships and extended family members I have made in the process I'm most grateful for."

A formal proclamation highlighted various contributions by Del Galdo and his firm over their tenure with Cicero:

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary in June of 2024; and

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has been the Town Attorney for Cicero, Illinois for many years; and

WHEREAS, Michael T. Del Galdo has worked tirelessly on behalf of the Town and its residents in his role as Town Attorney; and

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has provided invaluable assistance with municipal law, policy making, litigation, labor and employment matters, economic development, real estate, land use, public financing, negotiating contracts; and

WHEREAS since its inception, the Del Galdo Law Group has served over 300 clients employing over 30 attorneys;

WHEREAS Cicero has greatly benefited from its work with this firm;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that President Larry Dominick along with Board Trustees honor this anniversary expressing gratitude to Michael T. Del Galdo along with his team;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy be presented on July 9th.

El Presidente de la Ciudad Larry Dominick y la Junta de Fideicomisarios de la Ciudad de Cicero conmemoraron el aniversario del Grupo de Abogados en su reunión el martes.

La junta aprobó por unanimidad una proclamación en honor a los años de servicio como Abogado.

El Presidente dijo que cuando conoció al abogado decidió inmediatamente que él sería su abogado y el abogado para ciudadanos.

“Es un tipo muy brillante,” dijo el Presidente Larry Dominick.

“Ha hecho un gran trabajo y es un honor tenerlo aquí.”

Los fideicomisarios saludaron al abogado durante la reunión y lo elogiaron por su asesoría legal.

“Gracias Mike,” dijo el Supervisor Joe Virruso.

Del Galdo expresó gratitud por honrar aniversario del bufete y servicio legal a la Ciudad.

“Tenía treinta y uno cuando fui designado por el Presidente como abogado en dos mil cinco casi veinte años después sigo disfrutando cada momento,” dijo el abogado.

“Ha sido un honor representar la ciudad.”
