The City of Berwyn has released its Annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) for 2023, confirming no violations in water quality standards. The report complies with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), and was prepared in conjunction with the City of Chicago.
Covering the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, the report provides essential information on the quality and source of drinking water. Throughout this period, Berwyn's water met all monitoring and testing requirements set by both the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and IEPA.
The CCR for 2023 is available on the city's website under the Water Department page in the Berwyn Water Supply Consumer Confidence Reports section. All previous reports can also be accessed from this page. An infographic summarizing the CCR 2023 report was mailed to every business and home as of June 26, 2024. This infographic includes a QR code linking to detailed findings and educational resources.
