Town President Larry Dominick, Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Supervisor Joe Virruso, Assessor Emilio Cundari, Collector Fran Reitz, Trustees Victor Garcia, Bob Porod, John Cava and Blanca Vargas, along with all town department heads and employees, extend their wishes for a happy and safe Fourth of July holiday.

Authorities remind residents that fireworks are illegal. "Be safe. Don’t injure yourself, your family or your children by using illegal fireworks this Fourth of July holiday. If it goes up in the air or it explodes, it is illegal and dangerous. You could face a $500 fine under the Town’s ordinance for the use of illegal fireworks."

The Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5.

Collector Fran Reitz informs residents: "Vehicle sticker purchases are available ONLINE through the 4th of July holiday through the Town’s website without incurring a late fee. Visit www.thetownofcicero.com and click the link 'Online Payments.'"

Ticketing for street maintenance is canceled for Thursday and Friday; additional information will be posted on Facebook.

Senior Services Director Ran Chlada assures that "the holiday will not disrupt any services for our Seniors and that all Senior Services will be available this holiday weekend as they always are."

Regarding garbage collection: if your pickup day is Thursday, it will be done on Friday; if your pickup day is Friday, it will be done on Saturday.

El Presidente del Municipio Larry Dominick y otros funcionarios municipales desean unas felices y seguras fiestas del 4 de julio.

La Recaudadora Fran Reitz agrega: "Las compras de calcomanías para vehículos están disponibles EN LÍNEA durante las fiestas del 4 de julio a través del sitio web del Municipio sin incurrir en cargos por retraso. Visita www.thetownofcicero.com y haz clic en el enlace 'Pagos en Línea.'"

Las multas por mantenimiento de calles están canceladas para el jueves y viernes; se publicará información adicional en Facebook.

El Director de Servicios para Personas Mayores Ran Chlada asegura que "el feriado no interrumpirá ningún servicio para nuestros mayores y todos los servicios para personas mayores estarán disponibles este fin de semana festivo como siempre."

En cuanto a la recolección de basura: si tu día es el jueves se realizará el viernes; si tu día es el viernes se realizará el sábado.
