Starting next week there will be additional parking restrictions on Burlington Avenue as our contractor continues storm sewer installation.

Commuters who use the parking spaces on the north side of Burlington Avenue are advised to use the parking spaces on Brookfield Avenue on the north side of the railroad tracks during this time.

The restrictions, highlighted above in yellow and red, are as follows:

1. "The yellow area near the Prairie Avenue Metra Station will not be accessible while the contractor completes restoration on the trench that was created during storm sewer installation. It is anticipated that access will be restored within 7 to 10 days."

2. "The red area from Sunnyside Avenue to Prairie Avenue will not be accessible while the contractor completes storm sewer installation, restoration, and concrete work on the north side of Burlington Avenue. It is anticipated that access will be restored in approximately three weeks."

In conclusion, the authorities express their gratitude for understanding and cooperation during this period of inconvenience.
