The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Alderman Contreras participating in the meeting via conference bridge; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the city council meeting held on February 12, 2024.
Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the city council meeting held on February 12, 2024; seconded by Alderman Sosa. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 12, 2024 CARRIED
Alderman Straube made a motion to reappoint Diane Pietrie to the Senior Commission; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Mayor Sherwin noted today is Casimir Pulaski Day; the Primary Election is on March 19; Alderman Johnson shared some residents’ concerns about a crosswalk on Wolf Road.
Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Ordinance O-01-2024; An Ordinance Establishing the Position of Director of Operations in the Public Works Department and Amending Title
1 of the Northlake City Code; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Ordinance O-02-2024; An Ordinance Increasing the Number of Class E-1 Liquor Licenses and Amending Section 3-3-4-6 of the Northlake City Code; seconded by Alderman Urbina. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Grochowski made a motion to approve the bid for Extending City Hall Fire Sprinkler System; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO APPROVE THE BID FOR EXTENDING CITY HALL FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM CARRIED
Alderman Grochowski made a motion to approve the bid for Omega III to demolish the radio tower at the Public Works facility on Wolf Road; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO APPROVE THE BID FOR OMEGA III TO DEMOLISH THE RADIO TOWER AT PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY CARRIED
A resident commented about the number of stop signs throughout the city and the unsightly appearance of the railroad underpass.
There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
