City of Countryside Board of Fire and Police Commission met June 1.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING

I. Call to Order

Chairman Pisone called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

II. Roll Call

Commissioner Carter called the Roll of those physically present as follows:

Present: Chairman Pisone, Commissioner Carter, Commissioner Wilson

Absent: None

Also Present: HR/Executive Assistant Sue Dignin, Police Chief Paul Klimek

III. Comments from the Public

None.

IV. Recess to Executive Session for the Purpose of Discussing Personnel under Section 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act

Motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Wilson to discuss Personnel pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act. Motion carried to recess to Executive Session at 10:01 a.m.

V. Reconvene to Regular Session

Open meeting reconvened at 10:15 a.m. with Chairman Pisone, Commissioner Carter, Commissioner Wilson and Sue Dignin present.

VI. New Business

Motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Carter to promote Joseph DiGangi from the Final Promotional Eligibility List to the position of Sergeant. Motion carried to promote Joseph DiGangi to the position of Sergeant.

Motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Carter to appoint a Patrol Officer from the Police Officer - Lateral Entry Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously.

VI. Adjournment

There being no further business to discuss, Commissioner Carter made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Wilson. Motion carried unanimously.

Chairman Pisone declared the meeting adjourned at 10:16 a.m.
