a) Report from VILLAGE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE/SUSTAINABILITY, FORESTRY, PARKWAYS ANDFACILITIES DIRECTOR: Arbor Day Celebration/Tree planting on May 06, 2023 at the Franklin Park Public Library, volunteers present, and the number of trees planted
b) Follow up of Flyer’s possible submission to the Village website for posting
c) Follow up from member Ambo regarding the sign-up sheet from “Sign up Genius” to make the process for signing up to receive trees easier for residents by utilizing the Village of Franklin Park’s website and social media platforms
VI. NEW BUSINESS
a) Brainstorm creating a monthly TREE STORY blog to be added to the Franklin Park Village website, and possibly to Franklin Park Public Library website. Blog topics will be all about trees in Franklin Park. A new tree variety can be discussed monthly, diseases or pests, stories regarding the oldest trees found in Franklin Park, etc.
b) Member Michael will not be present at the June meeting
