Discussion of Case No. 23-01 Request for a Special Use Permit to Operate a Warehouse for Vehicles Associated with a Transportation Company at 8939 Ogden Avenue
Village Planner Kate Portillo provides a presentation on the Case No. 23-01. Kate provides a brief description of the location in discussion. Kate discusses how the business in discussion matches the goals of the 2022 Energize Ogden Plan as well as the 2018 Comprehensive Plan - Ogden Ave Subarea Plan. Questions and comments are made by President Garvey as well as Trustees Hendricks and Conroy. Meeting was paused and resumed at 7:11pm in response to the tape recorder's batteries losing charge.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Barbara Dahms comments on the property at 8939 Ogden Avenue. Barbara recalls how Ogden Avenue used to look like decades ago with the variety of businesses that were tenants. Property taxes, curb appeal, cleaning brick exterior, and landscaping is discussed.
