I. CALL TO ORDERIROLL CALL:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rawski at 7:30PM
Upon call ofthe roll, the following were:
Present: Commissioner Irsuto, Commissioner Lucy and
Chairman Rawski
Absent: None
Others Present: Secretary Botti and ChiefCesaretti
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: All present
III. REVIEW AND VOTE TO ADOPT THE MINUTES OF LAST MEETINGS:
Motion by Commissioner Irsuto to adopt the minutes of our last meeting and second by Commissioner Lucy.
Upon call ofthe roll, the following voted:
Yes: Commissioner Irsuto, Commissioner Lucy and Chairman Rawski
Abstained: None
No: None
The Chairman declared the motion carried
IV. REVIEW CORRESPONDENCE AND BILLS:
• Invoices
• Xfinity re: Secretary's internet hill's
• Apple re: Secretary's iClould bill's
• Illinois State Police re: credit or $34.50
• Standard & Associates re: Personality evaluation for Daniel Mazurkiewicz, Matthew Mangum, Matthew Sammarco and Christopher Edwards
• Conrad Polygraph re: Polygraph on Matthew Mangum, Christopher Edwards and Daniel Mazurkiewicz
• Illinois Fire & Police Commissioners Association re: Yearly membership

V. DISCUSS PROGRESS OF PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS OF THEIR PROBATIONARY PERIOD AND VOTE FOR PERMANENT APPOINTMENT OR DISMISSAL (Note: this discussion may be in executive session):

VI. DISCUSS STATUS OF OPEN POSITIONS FOR BOTH FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS:
• Police Department: Is at full complement (30)
• Fire Department: Has two (2) opening, with two (2) approved
• Hiring the last candidate on the current list, November 21, 2022, for Fire Department
VII. REVIEWING THE DATES THAT ARE SET FOR NEW
FIREFIGHTERIPARAMEDIC TESTING (Original Appointment):
Fire Testing Schedule, (Original appointment)
• Begin advertising on December 7,2022, thru January 4, 2023
• Begin issuing Applications on December 7, 2022
• Accepting Applications until Wednesday, January 4, 2023, with a cutoff time of 4 P.M.
o Orientation & written examinations to be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Schiller Park Community Center:
o Registration begins at 8:30 AM by F.I.R.E. testing service
o Orientation begins at 9:00 AM and doors will be locked
o Written exam begins at or around 10:00 AM
• Oral examinations will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 (Note: Chris will be the helper)
• Final Eligibility list to be tentatively completed and posted by February 13, 2023
VIII. OTHER BUSINESS:
• Chief Cesaretti will be contacting the attorneys about the rule changes

• The next regular scheduled meeting is on December 20, 2022
