Dominican Wins In Division Street Battle

Dominican University women's soccer won their final regular season game of the year against rival Concordia University-Chicago.

The Stars hosted the Cougars to end the regular season for both schools. In the first half, the Stars got the scoring going with a goal from senior Regan Coxon assisted by freshman Sierra Rioux and fifth year student Michaela Thawley in the 27th minute of the game. This was all the scoring that the first half would see.

The second half started off slow, before the Stars scored two quick goals. The second goal of the game was scored by junior Grace Larson in the 75th minute of the game. The third goal of the game was scored by freshman Sarah Matruszek with Rioux getting her second assist of the game. 3-0 would end up being the final score of the game.
