The Triton College men's soccer had very little trouble improving to 7-0 on the season with a 9-1 throttling of Malcolm X College Sept. 10 in River Grove.
The Trojans went 3-0 on the week and held steady at No. 10 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll released Sept. 12.
Against the Hawks, Triton struck early and often as Ronaldo Rojas continues his tremendous season by scoring the Trojans first two goals en route to a four-goal evening. Rojas leads the region in goals scored (14) and points (31).
David Chudzik, Paul Urban, Gabriel Schiavoni, Luis Aviles and Pablo Mancha scored the other Triton goals. Mancha added three assists for the Trojans. The freshman from Leyden leads the region with 13 helpers.
The Trojans are back in action Wednesday night at home against Black Hawk College at 6:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Triton College You Tube channel.
