Approval of Minutes:
The Committee minutes from the 6/7/2022 Properties and Recreation meeting were approved with no corrections.

Resolution No. 22 – APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONSENT TO ASSIGNMENT AND AMENDEMENT TO INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WESTERN SPRNGS, GRAND AVENUE PRESCHOOL AND DAY CARE INC., AND PREMIER WESTERN SPRINGS IL LLC:
The current owners of the Grand Avenue Preschool are retiring. Premier Early Childhood will be taking over the operations of the school; Premier Early Childhood operates preschools across the state. They intend to keep the name the same as well as keep staffing the same.
Recreation Update:
Summer programs are in full swing. The first session of summer camp ended last week; Summer tennis sessions continue through July 16. The Safety Village program completed on 6/23 and was a success with over 140 participants. Excellent participation at the Gathering on the Green. The Summer Pickleball Tournament with partnering with the Park District was held on 6/25 and was full with 64 participants. Staff is preparing the Fall brochure.
