The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the city council meeting held on June 13, 2022. Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the city council meeting held on June 13, 2022; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JUNE 13, 2022 CARRIED
Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO ACCEPT THE WARRANTS AND VOUCHERS CARRIED
There was a discussion regarding next year’s date for Community Days; a discussion regarding obtaining a new sign for the Doyle Detention Basin when area construction is complete; and a discussion regarding local fireworks.
Alderman Patti made a motion to refer to the City of Northlake Zoning Board of Appeals and Plan Commission a request by Jesus Rosales for a variance in an I-1 Limited Industrial District at 60 W. Lake St., currently a carwash, to an event venue/banquet hall; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Grochowski made a motion to award the bid for Fullerton Avenue Resurfacing Project to Schroeder Asphalt Services in the amount of $384,176.10; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to award the bid for Grand Avenue Water Main Project to Martam Construction Inc. in the amount of $2,374,155.00; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.
