1 President Lee called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

4.1 Swearing in of Police Officers-Marcello Agate, Michael Janosz and Mark Lemus

CONGRATULATIONS! Chief Larem welcomes all to the team.

4.2 ComEd Storm Report-Katrina Steel and ComEd team reports on the outages that affected Berkeley village on June 13 2022 due to the supercell thunderstorm. 4.3 Beautify Berkeley Home of the Month – 1551 Taft Avenue-Congratulations.

Assistant Administrator Miller informs all replacement fence went out to bid. It will be a chain link fence with security feature providing privacy screening. Hoping to be installed within next couple of weeks.

9.1.7 Bicentennial Room Dais Discussion-Justyn Miller gives options and information on options and updates available for replacement of furniture, audio etc. There is an agreement from board on options to replace and move forward.

9.2 Finance and Economic Development (Chair – Trustee Mohammed; Co Chair Trustee Salemi)

9.2.1 Trustee Liaison Report

Trustee Mohammed and staff are currently working on 2021-2022 audit. Asbestos removal has been scheduled for 5440 and building is set to be demolished by September. Team has also been working on finalizing an agreement with Shell. Financial Credit Union ribbon cutting should be happening in September.

Trustee Mathews has no report. Safety Chief Larem states working on training specifically with school.

Trustee Salemi reports mutual aid received from 6 different towns and 6 mutual aid were also given. Also wants to inform all of the ribbon cutting taking place for business establishment Dreams.

9.5 Public Works and Utilities (Chair – Trustee Hammar; Co-Chair Trustee Mohammed)

9.5.1 Trustee Liaison Report

Trustee Hammar informs all of the next park district ad-hoc meeting on Wednesday 8/10/22 at 6:30p.M. at Bicentennial Room. Also wants to inform all of the great progress being made on the new public works facility.

9.6.1 Trustee Liaison Report

Trustee Perez reports there were 26 participants when hearing bus came. Music in park series has been successful, police presence appreciated. Horizon is the next band scheduled.

10.4 8/10/22 Village/Park District Ad-Hoc Committee at 6:30 p.m.

10.5 8/14/22 Family Fun Fest – Berkeley Park, 12-5 p.m.

10.6 8/16/22 Village Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

President Lee Thanks Trustee Perez on bringing together the music in the park and all his hard work. Centennial meeting was held and there was a good turnout. Looking for participants at the family fun fest with signup sheets. President Lee compliments public works and all admin teams regarding putting together play dates in the park next one to be held 8/20/22.

11 Village Administrator

Administrator Espiritu ask everyone to complete fraud questionnaire for audit. Assistant Administrator Justyn Miller informs all if smaller refuse can wanted must inform refuse company.
