Cicero home prices rose in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Cicero rose by $7,500 while total sales decreased by 88.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 3.2 percent increase over the $232,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Cicero in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Cicero for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,394, approximately 1.8 percent of the median home sale price for May.
