Village of Schiller Park Committee of the Whole met April 21.

ORDER:
President Nick Caiafa called the meeting to order at 6:07 P.M.
ROLL CALL:
Upon roll call by Village Clerk Jos, the following Elected Officials were:
Present: President Nick Caiafa, Trustees: Marie Lukowski, Russell Klug, Joan Golembiewski, Robert Lima, Terri Sheridan, and Village Clerk Rosa Jos
Absent: Tom Deegan
Clerk Jos declared a quorum present.
Also present: Corporate Counsel Joe Montana, Village Manager Brett Kryska
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Trustee Lima moved, seconded by Trustee Sheridan that the MINUTES of the Committee of the Whole Meeting of April 7, 2022 be approved.
Upon roll call the following voted:
Ayes: Trustees: Lukowski, Klug, Golembiewski, Lima, and Sheridan
Absent: Trustee Tom Deegan
Nay: None
President Caiafa declared the motion carried.
PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD: BUSINESS:
There was a discussion on the following development and infrastructure improvements updates:
1. The Village has issued permits for the property at 9950 W Lawrence Avenue.
2. Wendy's Restaurant at 9335 Irving Park Road plans to remodel.
3. The 13th Floor Haunted House operation and request for special permits.
4. Mayor Caiafa is meeting with the Illinois Tollway to discuss the Oasis project.
5. Mayor Caiafa talked about plans to finish restoring the viaducts.
6. The Irving Park Road project. There was a discussion about the Village having a balanced budget and the benefit of this achievement.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Trustee Golembiewski moved, seconded by Trustee Lukowski to adjourn into Executive Session in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, pursuant to Sec. 2-C-1 Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance or Dismissal of Certain Employees and Sec. 2-C-2 Salary Schedules for one or More Classes of Employees. Upon roll call the following voted: Aye:
Trustees: Lukowski, Klug, Golembiewski, Lima, and Sheridan
Absent: Trustee Tom Deegan
Nay: None
The President and Board of Trustees adjourned to Closed Session at 6:29 P.M.
RECONVENE:
At 7:03 P.M. following the Closed Session, the President reconvened the public portion of the Meeting. Upon roll call by the Village Clerk, the following Elected Officials were:
Present: President Nick Caiafa, Trustees: Marie Lukowski, Russell Klug, Joan Golembiewski, Robert Lima, Terri Sheridan, and Village Clerk Rosa Jos
Absent: Trustee Tom Deegan
President Caiafa declared a quorum present.
Also Present: Corporate Counsel Joe Montana, Village Manager Brett Kryska ADJOURNMENT: With no further business to conduct, it was moved by Trustee Golembiewski, seconded by Trustee Klug, that the Committee of the Whole Meeting be adjourned. Upon roll call the following voted:

Nay: None
President Caiafa declared the motion carried and this Committee of the Whole Meeting was adjourned at 7:04 P.M.
